Bio-Mi had the pleasure of participating in a one-day international event titled “EU funded research and innovation in Croatia: Where do we stand today?” organized by the City of Rijeka on September 28, 2023, at the RiHub premises.
In addition to an overview and statistics from the previous financial period, visitors had the opportunity to explore the potentials and opportunities that this program brings. Horizon Europe is one of the Union’s key instruments for strengthening the European Research Area, enhancing European competitiveness, directing and accelerating the digital and green transition, European recovery, preparedness, and resilience. This makes it the most ambitious and largest transnational framework program for research and innovation globally.
The lecture by our general manager, Ivona Miketa, was met with keen interest, especially in light of the fact that, according to the latest statistical data from the European Commission, Bio-Mi is the first company in Croatia among private organizations in terms of the number of projects and the amount of funds secured. We are exceptionally proud of this and hope that our efforts have inspired participants to consider joining the Horizon Europe program, which, in addition to financial resources, offers new experiences and can enhance the competitiveness of companies and institutions in the international market.
